When did you start grooming? 2015

Why did you get into grooming?

I started grooming when I had my first shih tzu x, Rocky, he needed grooming and always hated going to the groomers. Grooming him myself helped us bond and helped him become more comfortable with the process and once I was grooming professionally he loved going to the salons with me.

When did you start at Clippd? 2021

Why did you start Clippd?

I wanted to create a space that was not only calm and comfortable for the dogs but also for myself. Clippd had always been a little idea in the back of my mind until I decided to just go for it. Once established I was able to bring other groomers in to create my dream team.

What do you love about working at Clippd?

I love my team, Clippd wouldn't be the same without my stylists! I love coming to work at my salons, they're open and bright and they just make me happy.

What do you love about grooming?

My favourite part of grooming is the makeovers! I love when owners come to pick up their pups and they get so excited over how cute their dogs looks.

What are your grooming goals?

I would love to be able to share more of what I have learnt with other groomers. From teaching grooming basics to helping to build a business plan or setting up a salon space.

What grooming achievement are you most proud of?

I was so proud at the 2025 Pet Show Grooming Competition, I had my whole team attend and I took out both Best In Show and Runner Up Best In Show awards with my two girls Penelope and Honey with two amazing grooms.

What dog/s do you own?

Honey Peach the Toy Poodle.

Penelope Grace the Standard Poodle.

Daisy Belle the Australian Shepherd.

What breed of dog do you want to own and why?

I have always wanted an Affenpinscher, I love their tiny scruffy faces! I definitely will always own a poodle but I would also love a Bichon Frisé, a Shih Tzu, a Pomeranian; basically anything small and fluffy.

What is your favourite breed to groom and why?

Poodles! There is so much you can do with them and they're just naturally so elegant. Second favourite is Pomeranians and close third is a Shih Tzu.

What is your favourite pet name you have heard?

Lamb Chop he was a little Maltese from years ago, but I love names with a title like Sir Louis or Captain Snowball.

What is your favourite grooming tool?

Fine tooth comb and my curved scissors (my signature range of-course)

What kind of grooming do you specialise in?

I specialise in breed standard grooming and hand scissored styles. My style is influenced by asian fusion grooming and I love creating a cute little teddy face.

What are some of your grooming acheivements/awards?

I hold over 45 grooming awards so I won't list them all! My most memorable are:

My very first ribbon, 2nd place in Salon Styling at Melbourne Pet Grooming Championships 2018.

My first Trophy, Asian Fusion Best In Group at The Pet Show Sydney 2023.

And my most recent Best In Show awards at the Furtastic Grooming Show 2025 and The Pet Show Melbourne 2025
